Default And Yet Another Dagger

Here is another dagger that I believe to be from Luzon. The scabbard I do not think is original but it is what came with it when I acquired it. Any thoughts that anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Robert

P.S.
I forgot to add that the blade is made from an old file or rasp, the guard and collar are of steel and the end cap on the horn hilt I believe is of pewter and more than likely salvaged off of some other item. The collar also has an old collection number painted on it.

Interesting addition to your collection. You have a good eye for interesting items.
Would like to see your Luzon dagger collection in a group picture.

Regards,

Detlef

When you clean up this new find, I would love to see close ups of the distal end cap with the designs on it..........

Detlef, I'll see what I can do.
Jose, I'll try to post a close-up of the end cap tomorrow.

Robert

Jose, here are a couple of photos that show the end cap a little better.

Thank you Robert. Nice to see the details. Different plant motif than I am used to seeing.
