East Javanese Golok
Well now that you have spent all your money on Christmas presents I will throw this added temptation in your path.
This is an East Javanese golok rembau, the blade has seven inserts of pamor miring (the insertion of metal at right angles to the main blade), the scabbard and handle are made of scented sandalwood, and with brass ferrule and embossed buntut. The pommel of the handle and the upper scabbard have been carved in a classic floral motif. This is a rare form of golok with good overall patina and the blade carrying a very scarce form of pamor. An older piece. Blade length 12'', overall 18¼''. $180 us plus postage (about $30 to most parts of the world) PM me if you are interested. drd |

price drop
I will drop the price of this piece to $155, if you want more pictures just PM me. This is a really good example of a rare piece, if no one is interested it will just go back into the collection not to ebay. I do take paypal.
cheers and happy new year drd |
