NON WEAPON CLUB LIKE TOOLS
IN THE INTRESTS OF KEEPING MEMBERS FROM BUYING A MIS- IDENTIFIED ITEM I AM INCLUDING SOME OBJECTS HERE FROM NEW GUINEA. THIS WILL DEAL WITH DRUMSTICKS OR DRUM BEATERS FROM NEW GUINEA. THE PICTURE OF THE LARGE CROCODILE DRUM WITH STICK IS ONE FROM A MENS HOUSE IN THE SEPIK REGION, USED IN CEREMONIES OF BOYS BECOMING MEN, IT IS 92 INCHES LONG.
THE SMALLER SLIT DRUM WITH STICKS IS 15IN LONG BY 6IN. TALL. THE OTHER STICKS ARE 24IN.., 14IN. LONG, AND 585MM LONG. THE FIRST 2 PICTURES ARE OF A 14IN. MURIK DRUM POUNDER. NOTE NONE OF THESE ARE CURRENTLY FOR SALE BUT HAVE BEEN FOR SALE AND COULD BE BACK ON SALE AGAIN SOON HOPEFULLY THAT POSSIBILITY WILL NOT CAUSE THE THREAD TO BE LOCKED. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS DRUM STICKS OR ANY OTHER CLUB LIKE IMPLEMENTS FROM NEW GUINEA PLEASE ADD THEM TO THE POST HERE FOR REFRENCE. Last edited by VANDOO; 24th January 2012 at 06:35 PM. |

A FINE EXAMPLE OF THE DEADLY CHURNING TOOL NOTHING WORSE THAN BEING CHURNED TO DEATH. THE ONLY THING SCARIER IS THE ASKING PRICE OF 550.00 FOR THIS FINE ITEM. THANKFULLY CLOSED BUT NOT SOLD. THEY SEEM TO BE POPULAR LATELY. THIS MAY NOT BE FROM NEW GUINEA AS IN THE POST TITLE BUT IT IS NOT A WAR CLUB SO IS INCLUDED HERE.
