the pointy scabbard as opposed to a square cut tip usually points to thailand. just to be perverse, a square/rounded tip may not conversely point to burmah.

The handle on the smaller example is mounted upside-down. I wouldn't necessarily spend much time or effort correcting it on one of these, but if you intend to display or keep it as a late 20th century example of the type, you may want to...
