I normally stay away from these things, because even the WWII bringbacks, are usually very tourista, and cheesy looking. This one caught my eye because of it's size, and wrapped handle. Looked like a "using" one. The price was a plus also!

These are usually from Cebu and this one looks like just prior to WWII. A good example.

I think Battara is right on....this one is of considerably better quality than most of the WW2 and after examples.
