I have been running into firsts lately. This is an Omani Kattara and this if the first example of this form I have seen with a wootz blade. The blade is thin and typical of these swords but the watering suggests it was locally forged from an imported ingot. Perhaps a surviving wootz making center in Arabia? Has anyone else every run across an Omani sword of this form with a wootz blade?

Lovely sword, thanks for sharing! If this sword is evidence of a wootz producing center in Oman that would be truly amazing. If I remember correctly, Saqr Al-Anzi once commented that Arabia had a well developped swordsmith industry until the 16-17th centuries, after which all local production mysteriously disappeared. This sword however may change this view.
