New pedang lurus enter the collection soon
This pedang lurus will enter the collection soon, no length given from the auction house.
What appealed to my eyes was the interesting scabbard and handle. Better pics will be added when I have received it. |

The pedang arrived and I am satisfied with my purchase. It has received a little bit of TLC in the meanwhile.
The ferrule is from bone and I think that the handle is from horn. Scabbard's foot is missing but this was obvious. Approx. 60 cm long inside scabbard, 58 cm without, blade 45,7 cm, 7 mm thick at the spine behind the handle. |

Does anyone have a clue how the scabbard foot might have looked like?

Hi Detlef
a very nice pedang you found, I guess the size of the horn is not to bad, to find a replacement tip. I should have a look at Dictum Tools they also have some horn blanks in their webshop. https://www.dictum.com/en/horn-cb/bu...orn-tip-831033 Best wishes, Martin |

It's a small auction house, they offered two blades only, this pedang and a kukri. I don't know if they want to ship to the States. Regards, Detlef |
