Default KIA Marine Officer's Sword

A bit unusual for this Forum I know, but I am trying to contact Militaria collectors/vendors to help locate the Marine Officer's Sword in this WorthPoint posting:

https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...-wall-70697378

KIA MARINE OFFICERS SWORD NAME ON THE WALL USMC VIETNAM
• SOLD FOR:$354.78
• SOLD DATE: Jun 15, 2009
• SOURCE: eBay
• WORTHPOINT CATEGORY: Advertising
• ORIGINAL CATEGORY: Collectibles : Militaria : Vietnam (1961-75) : Original Period Items : Other
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The KIA officer was 1stLt Matthew O. McKnight. His name is on the sword. We were Marines together. He was killed in Vietnam in October 1967 and his sword somehow ended up on eBay in 2009. We want locate the sword, purchase it and return it to the family and have it mounted and hung at Auburn University where he graduated and was commissioned a Marine Lieutenant in 1966.

eBay was not able to locate transaction record or seller/buyer info.

Thank you any assistance or suggestions you might have to help us locate the sword.

Casa Geezer:

I'm transferring this one to our Miscellania Forum as it does not fit with the Ethnographic nor European discussions. Good luck with your search for this officer's sword.
