Default SWORD ID

Does anyone recognise this sword , it doesnt belong to me and at the moment this is the only pic I have of it

If the swordhilt is made of brass it could be a Bavarian sabre 1806 for police officers. It should have a blade monogramm "MJK"

thanks very much , yes it is brass hilted ... am trying to get more info on it re markings etc
