can you take a picture just like the first, but tilt it to the right. It would make reading the makers name much easier.

 tks for the nice pic of your "shashka" real beautiful one partially translated, because: - At least, a name, "Asman" (? ... random translation) it's not an Arabic name, should be the name from a janissary, the title also associated "Ara" is a Turkish military rank - the central part, is too vague, not enough contrast to read something any way, here what we got - SAHEB ASMAN(?) ARA either OWNER ASMAN(?) ARA - AMAL MOHAMED ... ???? either MADE BY MOHAMED .... ???? why didn't present you, i.e.; from where you are ?, what is your field of investigations, and collections and may be add some pictures ? it's pleasant to know with who, we are exchanging all the best and regards à + Dom |
