Well made spear! Indian?

That is a very well made spear, with a thickened area towards the tip and a dog holding it in its mouth (both sides). Is this of Indian manufacture?

Yes, definitely Indian and old! A typical Katar-like thickened blade.

I even wonder if it is from south India due to the form of the animal head at the base.
