Hello Andi,
Thanks for showing this nice variety! I know there are many more, so please keep them coming... ;o) I'd appreciate very much if you could make notes if any pieces/styles are typical for a specific area (Gowa, Bone, etc.), town (De’de Apa, De’de Baru, etc.), or panre/empu (Daeng Mangapa, etc.). I also have to admit that I still struggle with naming conventions on Sulawesi with many names being very broadly applied (alameng, etc.) and others seem to be used almost interchangeably (Badik vs. Kawali vs. Bangkung). Any help from the source would be really great! Regards, Kai |
