An Indian Matchlock Toradar for sale
The big sturdy version, from the 18th century; part of a Maharaja arsenal, with a Raj inventory number #1601 on the stock.
With an Hindy inscription, including serial number # 2022 and the word "straight". The damascened steel barrel is 1,22 mt. (48") long, with typical muzzle. Band fixation from barrel to stock needing some reinforcement, in case of intense handling, which is nothing unusual with these ancient systems; remember this musket weighs 4,8 kgs (11 pounds).
