HI EVERYBODY!!
THIS SUMMER I FOUND 2 MUSEUMS WITH PHILIPPINE WEAPONS, THIS MUSEUMS ARE IN THE NORTHEAST OF SPAIN, THE FIRST, MUSEUM OF VICTOR BALAGUER, IS IN VILANOVA I LA GELTRU (BARCELONA). IN THIS MUSEUM I FOUND A LITTLE PART WITH ETHNOGRAPHIC ITEMS, WITH WEAPONS, OF COURSE!!. THE SECOND MUSEUM IS IN THE CITY OF TARRAGONA, MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF THE WEAPONS, WITH ALL KINDS OF WEAPONS AND DIFFERENTS COUNTRIES. I HOPE ALL FORUMITES LIKE PICTURES!! BYE! |

Thanks for sharing this with us Carlos.
That's an interesting barung in the last photo. How common are barung with false edges like that? Come to think of it, that beveled edge looks odd as well. Carlos, do you recall what that stamp at the forte is? |

The third pic from Tarragona, underneath the butt of the Kabyle gun, there is a saber with anthropomorphic handle(black wood and some incrustations).
Any info what is it? North African? There is a label next to it but can't read it. |

Oi!
Could you please post more pictures of that suit? I'm an armourer and my absolute favourite is m&p... But there's only a very few online pictures of them, which's very bad for me - I want to improve my authenticity. Oh, if my english seems horrible sometimes, forgive me, I'm from Hungary. |
