Dear All,
our opinions on this one are most expected, as I have practically no experience with weapons from Aceh. The sheath seems to me a recent work. What about the style of the carvings? Is the blade also recent or reshaped? Thank you, Gustav Last edited by Gustav; 30th October 2009 at 04:28 PM. |

The blade looks old, or at least traditionally made.
The fittings appear very recent to me. Well made but not the old style. |

Thanks, Asomotif.
I am in doubts about the blade becouse of its sharp contured "greneng" . Last edited by Gustav; 31st October 2009 at 10:34 AM. |
