I tried to ID this keris myself but do advise me if it is not correct.

A rare pamor keris? Late 19th century Balinese or Lombok keris (based on tang type) without waranga. The design of gonjo gives me impression it is lombok but I could be wrong. Pamor maybe is lintah kemukus aka flying comet. Last edited by Anthony G.; 5th July 2018 at 05:08 PM. |

			Hello Anthony,

This blade is likely to originate from Lombok, indeed. Lalu Djelenga shows several blades with this linear pamor type which commonly exhibits a separate motif at the base; he calls this double motif pamor wujud (aka pamor dwi warna on Java). Your example seems to approach pamor kukus gunung (p. 221). Regards, Kai |
