Default Another old gunong for my collection

Antique Gunong restoration

I am happy regarding the final look of this old gunong after my restoration. When I acquired this piece the blade already had deep rusts, the silver fittings on the scabbard and handle was dark already, and the wood was dry.

After a thorough restoration, the beauty of the banati wood on the handle is now visible. The blade also shows it is made of laminated steel. The silver fittings also look good when polished.
