Whilst certainly no expert by any manner of means I have my doubts that there is much age at all to this axe, in the photographs something about the applied silver and the rust just doesn't seem right for a really old item, I do hope I'm totally wrong. Did you by any chance get it from a character in a David Bowie song !!!!!!
