Hey it's not like I spent a lot on the dagger so I won't be disappointed I'm sure it still seems well made. I have an older one and will compare it when it arrives. The inside of the scabbard seems to have wear and some age to it and the width at the top edge seems thick so to me it won't be a thin sheet steel blade.
