I've been offered that puppy and I don't actually know what it is. Seems a german reinterpretation of a turkish yataghan
The hilt is ivory? and the quillon section seems verry german to me or might be actually turkish simpler design of their WWI ordonance swords. The blade i verry plain and no decoration on it apparently. Is tat some sort of turkish ordonance short sword/dagger ith obvius simplified design?
