Its definatelly the right man for the job, chances are it really is a keris holder. Maybe not a
pusaka or the traditional
garuda or
gayang figure but it does not lack exotism & cool. Like the ones before me I believe this might be a modern Balinese carving. I am pretty sure you shouldnt look for atributing superpowers or desperatelly find what "school" does it belong to, just enjoy it as it is... A saying goes "Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder", oops I meant "beholder"...
