Are other type of this Panjang known? I ask as the hilt appears to be that of a Jono from Batak Sumarta. Is this a Panjang specific to the regions of Batak?

Hello Gavin,
the Batak normally don't have had keris. The hilt form seems to be a planar tapak kuda form. Look also here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ght=tapak+kuda
