I need your help to identify a dagger. Maybe you can tell me from which region it may come from. I guess it´s quite old by the look of the sheath although it´s in a good condition. The leather straps are already broken once as old leather does.
The dagger itself is about 10 inches from point of blade to end of handle. The blade itself from point to handle is about 6 inches. The "fitting piece" (? between blade and handle; sorry, bad english
) is made of what looks like silver with engraved zick-zack lines and stars on it. The decoration on the handle seems to be silver, too.
(I´m sorry for the bad pictures but I´ve got no digicam...)
