I've bought that sword recently. The blade seems poor condition, but is the signature from the great master Masahiro from Soshu, KAMAKURA era blade?

I agree... nothing to do with the hussars, but if it is in fact a put toghether project I can say that I admire the ability of the maker. It seems so antique, just like an unknown type of medieval...

It was a sleeper on ebay. It was a beauty in his days. quite hard to fing painted ivory hilts nowadays. Blade is probably wootz?
