Hi, not a rapier but a mid to late 19th Century British 'cut steel' court sword. I can't see from the photos but it may be missing the knuckle guard.

My personal opinion? Based on the photos you’ve posted, I believe the blade is a more recent replacement. It looks old so it could be from the Victorian times but there’s something off about it.

Sword knots are typically fairly long; the end of the one in the photo is pretty much hanging where I’d expect if it wasn’t wrapped around the hilt....
