Antique small kastane sword, before after

Hello dear members,

I wanted to.share with you my last aquisition.
An old kastane said to be 17th-18th century.
Not too expensive because it was all "blackened"
I couldn't leave her like that...

I first cleaned well the guard and the scabbard mounts who were darkened ( didn't take pics of before/after )
They easily became shiny...
