Problems with email notification on subscribed threads

Lately i am not receiving emails notifying me that someone has posted on a subscribed thread.
Is this also happening with other members?
Fernando

No, not yet Rick  .

Hi Fernando,
You've checked your settings ......
If all is in order and still not working; contact Lee .

This happens to me too now and then; I think my ISP sometimes sees it as spam ... :o

Thank you Rick. I will PM Lee.

Not much I can do to help from this end...

If you do not receive an expected email from the forums software, chances are that your e-mail system has misidentified it as spam and intercepted it or put it directly in the junk folder. If you have access to settings to allow mail from specified domains (in this case vikingsword.com) to pass, you may be able to fix the problem yourself.

As an economic reality, this website is on shared, rented servers and not all of any hosting company's customers are well behaved. Some ISPs and mail service providers will lazily and arbitrarily block all mail originating from particular servers, regardless of content. If this is the case you will need to contact your mail service provider concerning their e-mail filtering functions. Good luck! Another option is to open a account on a free e-mail service that is more sophisticated in their spam management functions.

Thank you so much for the explanation and for the sugestions.
Come to think of it, the other day i have changed my e-mail service, although i am not sure this is when the problem started.
I will start by editing in my current mail spam settings the remitter @vickingsword.com as a safe domain, to see if it works.
Thanks again.
Fernando

Thank you for the test PM's, Rick.
However there is no way i may get notified by the Forum instant emails.
OI have tried with the earlier email service i had, i have cleared the Forum domain in my current mail SPAM settings, i have searched in my junk box, checked my Internet security filters (which are medium/low) and i even deleted two thirds of my subscribed threads list, in case the thing was overloaded.
With the recently sent PM's all i can get is a pop up message when i open the Forum site, but no email notification.
This must be some kind of whitch-craft  .
Such a pitty loosing so important option. Mayber some day it will recover in the same misterious way it has colapsed.

Bingo ... i think

One (last) thing i could have done, but didn't occur until couple days ago: to restore my computer for an earlier date.
It worked :) .
I am not receiving notifications on prior subscriptions, but the configuration is reestablished and, the threads i subscribe (or re-subscribe) from then, are dropping email notifications.
So the whitch-craft is dismantled  .
Amen

Thanks a lot for the PM test, Rick :) .
I got no email notification ... only the pop up.
Well, you can't win them all  .
However, subscribed threads notifications are pouring in the normal way
