About a bhuj

Hello folks,

Recently I saw this Indian bhuj go by on ebay. It went for $230, which seems like a steal if it's genuine. I wanted to bid, but I do not know enough about these to commit. Looks ok, generally...thick blade, solid construction, the brass fittings are somewhat crude and there seems to have been a repair made to the elephant.

Your thoughts on this?
Regards,
Emanuel

Hmmmm

Hi,

I don't claim to know anything at all about these but looking at it, $230 seems like a good price for an entry level piece, something to study and learn from.
I have seen them sell for 2000pounds plus, but they were super nice and very old.
