Looks a lot like many of the fakes on eBay, doesn't it?

However I believe it to be "Warring States" about 475bc to 225bc. Bought it from a guy who wrote a few books on old Chinese pieces.

This collecting area is not really my thing, but I like the sword and have good feelings about the provenance.

Been away for some time :(
Do you have anyway to either carbon test the sword or send it to a metallurgical analysis? If the sword is ancient it is very nice.
