Help with Inscriptions on Asian (?) Knife
Hi,
I have a small pocket knife that has an inscription on the blade and an inscribed name (?) on the spring. The blade inscription is in some kind of cuneiform-like writing. The inscription is a cursive like Arabic. Can anyone help identify and/or translate these? http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s.../Oriental2.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...ntalScript.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s...onCropped2.jpg |
Bumping to top; found buried in the moderation queue.

Uzbekistan (?) knife
A poster on another forum has suggested that this knife is from Uzbekistan, but wasn't able to post pictures of any similar knives.

No takers on this? Can anyone hazard a guess on the inscription on the back edge of the knife?
