Yes you are right - sorry. There are four inscriptions on this Haladie, but unfortunately the three of them are not very clear, only the one with the year 1221 (1807). |

This is something often found of Islamic weapons, a verse from the Quran Nasrun Min Allah, Wa fathun Qarib - Victory is from God and conquest is near. I've also seen it on war banners, probably Ottoman. |

I believe this one is an native Indian script, perhaps Devanagari or Gurmukhi :confused: definitely not Arabic derived script? You need a local to help read that for you :) |
