HI,

I bougth some spears last week, but don't know where they come from..
Aceh,Java or ?
Maybe one of you know anything more?
the longest is 220 cm long.

I would bet that #4 is Javanese, possibly #2 also. Alan Maisey would know. He knows everything Javanese.

Identifying the origin, especially the "original origin"...I mean who made the spear , not necessarily who used it(via trade, etc.)...is a tricky business with Indo Malay spears. I agree with Bill about #4, but can't confirm.

I would agree that the shape of #4 is exactly like Javanese spear heads I have seen.

Those spears look according to the fittings Sumatran to me. The fourth one looks like a javanese tombak.
