For Sale: Chinese dao from the Han Dynasty.
 

Well, due to monetary problems (I bought an old car, and need money for parts) I'm selling the oldest thing in my collection: a Dao from the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. - A.D. 220). Due to its heavy corrosion, its probably from the older range of the era.

33 3/4 inches long. (85.72 centimeters.)
1.2 inches wide. (3.04 centimeters.)
1.5 centimeters thick at the handle, with slight taper from there.
About 1.45 pounds, but I don't have a decent scale, so I'm not positive.

The only problem area is a small section beyond the handle, where the body has been eroded away and the iron is visible, but with care, there shouldn't be any concern.
