History of Steel Catalog for Sale until March 30

Hi everyone,

It occurred to me to remind those who did not yet order and are interested, or those who still didn't know about it, that the orders for the USA of the History of Steel in Eastern Asia Catalog at Shadow of Leaves will end on March 30.

As it happened before with the Masters of Fire Catalog, folks were desperately looking for it afterwards. Again there will only be one shipment, as this catalog and its 518 pages will be a historical item quite soon.

To the Moderators: I'm sure you know that this post is not promotional but rather informative and cautionary for all those who were not in the know or serves as a reminder for the Forum's members interest.
Please feel free to modify it if it breaks any rules as there is no such intention.

Thank you :)

Thank you for the reminder. Good books are hard to find.
Josh

You're welcome.
It is more about not existing anymore after this shipment. A 5 kilograms book shipped alone will be more expensive in shipping costs than the book itself.

So it was just a preventive warning as I have received many requests for the Masters of Fire after Shadow of Leaves had sold all pre-ordered catalogs.

I am looking forward to seeing the book.
Thanks,
Josh

Catalogs ready

Gentlemen,

Catalogs have been shipped to Shadow of Leaves and will be shipped to all contributors as promised.

I apologize for the delay, but it wasn't within my power.
We had to manage very hard to keep it on 518 pages.

I am quite satisfied with this monster.
Please do not shower me with PMs or emails. :)
I hope you'll have the patience to wait a tad more.

Thank you.

Didn't Aristotle say "Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet"

I am sure that will be the case this time as well

Although I'm not a philosopher nor a farmer, I dare say you are right :)
The catalogue is a marvellous piece.

Just today I showed it to one of my ex-students and he said he wish he would have loved to have the chance to do such a book.

Well, anyways I'm sure one cannot please Greeks and Trojans.

Well, in fact I thought the saying would be the same in English.
We say Não podes agradar a Gregos e a Troianos.

No horses ;)
