Million Dollar Jambiya

This is a picture of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein Al Ahmar
who reportedly paid a million US for this famous jambiya which belonged to Imam Ahmad. He is speaker of the Yemeni Parliment and has a website with lots of good photos of various jambiyas. http://www.alahmar.net/gallery/categories.php?cat_id=2 He traveled to the gulf recently for medical treatment and refused to remove his Janbiah. The european pilot refused to fly and had to be replaced. |
I have heard that it is a direct insult to a Yemeni or Omani person's manhood if he was to remove his Jambiya unwillingly.
