Any comments?

I was watching this one hoping no one else saw it ~lol~
It looks like a nicely made blade that etching will reveal a nice layered pattern in

Who ever won it, did good.

Given recent prices for ivory-hilted kris this one was a relative steal.

More in keeping with how these swords were valued a year or two ago. Maybe the mislabeling of this piece and the current depressed market in swords kept it from going higher.

Like rhysmichael I had a small flutter on this one but did not come close. I did pick up its companion from the same dealer:

I think mine has some age although it needs a little care and attention. The small punto and the style of scabbard struck me as perhaps Yakan in origin -- any thoughts?

Yeah I did see them both. Just not interested (actually don't have the money :o ).

The first kris seems to be of a more recent time with possible exception of blade and wranga.

The second I will have to do some digging (not with the kris though :p ).
