Two swords

First is a child's sword. 29" o/a, blade 23.5". Double edged, no fuller.
I almost fell headlong into the child sword rabbit hole. :D

Second is 32" o/a, blade 27". Single edged, slightly curved, one fuller. Unmarked.
The only reason that I bought this one was that the "writhen" grip appealed to me and I had not seen such a thing before.

It continues to surprise me that these sorts of things have no indication of the maker.

Very nice sword!

Hello Ed. The second sword is a very nice hanger ca 1760-80 period, just in time for the American revolution;). It appears to have the classic 4-slot hilt. Country of origin remains open, but it could very well be an American piece. Very very cool!
