Any help on the barrel markings would be great.
I have been told that the stamping could be Arsenal or Export markings.

This stamping was on the left side of the butt stock

Apparently Inventory and Arsenal markings

JPR is from the Jaipur armoury , I have couple with the similar marking and year 1865 also carved on the butt , Cheers
