New Blades For Identification
6 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
Anybody familiar with these blades? Origin, Name? or any other thoughts and comments. Cheers. |
2nd Bhutan/Tibet
|
1 and 3, Indian/Pakistani tourist jambiya imitating Mughal daggers.
2 Bhutan/Tibet, early 20th century. |
I was thinking 1 and 3 were Indonesian based on the shape, the decor, and especially the blade pamor. You see these in Indonesia a lot.
2 is at least Bhutan/Tibetan in style |

Agree on #1 is from Indonesia, maybe Central Java-Surakarta/Sala?
|
#1 is not from Solo, and very unlikely from Central Jawa, it could be from Surabaya, Pasar Turi, but it is really not any sort of traditional weapon from Jawa, it is just something from somebody's imagination.
