Its a khukuri ( kurkuri, kukri ) . I do not know much about them but someone here will. Untill then here is agood place to start

Post WW2 probably 70s bone handled for those who travel for pleasure, if the blade is tempered in the belly its real. Probably Nepali, but could be made across Indian border.. If it isnt tempered its still decorative. Spiral |
