African Swords for sale
 

Massive Tetela currency sword. About the biggest I have seen. Massive iron pommel. Measures 28 1/2" in total length. Pictured next to a normal size Tetela (not for sale) to give a sense of its hugeness. $450

Ngombe sword. Measures 24 1/2" in total length. The tri-pommel of the grip has brass tacks all over. Grip is bound in iron bands. Blade has some decorations. Nice patina. $275

Mangbetu knife. Nice ivory handle. Nice patina and grip is very smooth/slick from many years of handling. Measures 13 7/8" in total length. Blade is 7 7/8" from tip to bottom of curve. tip is bent slightly and there are a couple of other dings to blade. $375

Yoruba brass blade. Very nice decorations to the one side. No handle. Measures 18" in a straight line. Blade is 3 1/2" wide at tang and 5 1/2" wide from tip to point straight below. $125.

Yakoma knife. Measures 14" in total length. Handle is tightly bound with brass bands. I like the thick cylindrical section below the handle before the blade shape takes place. $125

Momvu knife. Blade with punch dot decorations. Lower portion of grip wrapped in steel bands. Measures 18" in total length. Handle has bug holes and very top of pommel has been chewed up by bugs. $450
