Middle-east dagger?

Now since I am not very familiar with middle-east weapons I wonder if you could help to identify this.
The handle is most likely horn and the scabbard seems to be silver plated.
There are some repairs in the scabbard and blade fittings.
The blade weights exactly 300 grams and is 30 cm long, the hilt is another 12,5 cm so totally 42,5 long.
There is simple decorations in the scabbard and handle. The blade has a dull false edge and a single fuller.

A bichaq perhaps ?
Turkish , Caucasus ?

Could it be a Surmene knife without fullers?

Looks like a big Saldirma/Surmene knife from Turkey.Nice piece,I like the silver scabbard!

Tomik, could you post pictures of the sword in the background of your first picture as well? Is it a Tibetan sword as is being discussed on this thread? http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2178

Thank you guys for the information, it would have taken me ages to find information about it by myself.
Any idea of the age of the piece?
The sword in the background is simple chinese short sword (a sort of an bazaar piece I might add, but neverthless another piece to learn from).
I bought these 2 pieces together in the auction, so this one was kind of suprise for me, a pleasant one I might add.
I have one tibetan sword though, allthough it is pretty uncertain whether its old or not, more likely a mismatch (something old, something new) like Philip Tom said to me on the piece (purely based on the pictures).

Forget to put pictures on it (the tibetan sword).
I might add that in Chinese sword forums, it was said this is a modern piece (a fake). So the truth is somewhere between I would guess. Anyway nice piece which I personally like, real or not. :)
Here is few photos about it.
