This is another Baltimore item that I've just got around to unpacking;is it a dha or something else? The guard and the handle are throwing me off.Could it be Burmese, a Wa tribe item or even Naga(a very wild guess)? It is very sharp!

WOW;this sure is the same sword and you provided me with the link that is very informative! I think the handle could be horn rather than wood.
This is the second item that I have acquired in the last 6 months that I could trace to another dealer or seller;glad to see that some of you guys are letting some of your stuff go to us amateurs . |

 Hi drac2K:
This is an interesting example of the Achang HuSa sword-making skills. I think you will find this sword to be very solid in construction and definitely a usable weapon. I have been impressed with the practical quality of HuSa dao for some time--not very fancy, but definitely useful. Ian. |

I agree; in regards to balance, construction of the blade, weight, comfort of the grip, etc.,I find it to be a "most excellent," sword ." *1
