Kurdish Khandjar(?)

Gents,
second new blade that came in. Also very simple in design but robust. Sheath is magnetic, made from sheet metal and soldered. Maybe a slight hew of an ornament (dotted star) on the horn hilt? Or just traces from a vice used during manfacturing? Thanks for any comments, taube. |
Hello,
The dagger doesn't display many artistic features that may facilitate a more precise location. So in my oppinion, it may be Turkish, Kurdish or even Syrian. Best regards, Marius The blade looks quite old and I wouldn't be surprised if it is Persian wootz. |
With it's form, I'm leaning more towards Kurdistan........

Kurdistan it is.
