This is not Arabic, I don't think Bj211 can assist much.
It looks Thai or Indian......(I may be wrong).

It is on a Tibetan Thanka, But I do not know what language they write in.
Just thought I would give it a try

I agree with ham… that's Pagspa, they're Tibetan characters..
I’m sorry my friend I’m afraid you need to show it to some expert in Asian languages to figure it out, since it’s a very nice piece artistically.

I’ll be glade to see other pieces and help in any way..

ANy ideas on the inscription of the blade bellow? This must be a special style of calligraphy, can you read this one? It could be in Turkish language with arabic script.

I admit that your work on deciphering the inscription in previous post was outstanding - fantastic work, those colors..., fonts... etc, everything is explained... just perfect!
But on the second hand I just started to sympathize you ;). It seems to me that this thread already become and will be veeerry long wish list, and no doubt you will have occupation for the rest of your life :D

Alan62, I think it's a, Palden Lhamo (Tibet) or Shri Devi (Sankrit) rides a mule arrayed with a bridle, human and tiger skin blankets and a skull pendant around its neck amidst a sea of blood. The mule's facing forward has a special significance, as it indicates the dynamic goddess moving toward a definite destination, accomplishing her mission of protecting the Buddha’s teaching, its institutions and practitioners. She holds a raised trident in her right hand and a skull cup filled with blood in her left. She wears a crown of five skulls, adorned by a crescent moon and a peacock feather finial, earrings, bracelets, and anklets. Her other fierce accoutrements include flaming hair, human skin, snake and skull ornaments. Flames and smoke spring forth from her robes, creating a fearsome aura.

Tangka or Thangka (a Tibetan word meaning "silk, satin or cloth painting scroll") have been in Tibet for centuries. In Tibetan, "tang" means "unfolding" or "displaying". Tangka is created with the intention of showing the painting art to the public.

The content of most Thangka is mainly the images of Buddha, or reflection of lift stories of eminent monks and folk customs. The structure of Tibet Thangka is precise, balanced, plumpy and changeful. The painting methods are mainly bright color and line drawing.

This is information I found that shows her on horseback riding across a sea of corpses and is like the one I have if you look closely at the one I have it has many of the same attributes as many on the linked page.It is confusing to me because there are so many depictions and they are very close.

I thought is was Palden Llamo at first and then I found the Magzor Gyalmo .That is what confuses me, The descriptions.

It is Palden Llamo and it is Magzor Gyalmo and Shri Devi and ect....ect... Here is another link I had saved from my searches.It is interesting that she is the only female among 8 dieties to protect ,but like I said it is very confusing as she seems to take on many forms.

Maybe I’ll try to clean up the picture a bit, till I find something..
