Hi again,

I have another mystery I hope can be solved. Does anyone know where this wooden mask comes from? The third picture is of the back of the head, it seems to have triangles for the hairline and hashmark grooves to represent the hair.

Thanks!

THE STYLE OF CARVING LOOKS AFRICAN TO ME AND FAIRLY RECENT FROM THE PICTURES. PERHAPS A MORE MODERN INTERPRETATION OF A OLD FORM OF TRADITIONAL MASK BUT I HAVE NO GUESS AS TO TRIBE OR REGION.
IT WOULD ALSO MAKE A GOOD SOUVENIR MASK FROM ROSWELL NEW MEXICO AREA 51 AS WELL :D

I was thinking maybe Sirius B , or even somewhere in Alpha Centauri.
