Fusion Kris
I am not a Kris lover or specialist, but this one appealed to me.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Obviously, a lot of Western influence, but the final result is much more "war-like" than the traditional examples and much more exotic than the European blades. I particularly liked the execution of multiple planes and fullers on the blade. Very striking! |
Ariel, this is a keris pedang from either Bali or Lombok. I am not sure exactly what you see as obvious Western influence, but this is not a fusion in any sense of the word, it is a traditional Indo design.
