Tulwar with talasmanic? inlays

12 Attachment(s)
Here is a tulwar with what appears to be gold inlayed, possibly some sort of talismanic inlays. It almost seems like they could represent the sun surrounded by either stars or planets. On the handle there is also what appears to be either an eye or a shining sun. Blade is layer-welded, 30 inches long, 35 inches overall. The scabbard looks to be military, with a distinctively military style drag. Anyone know what these inlays might represent........Dave.
