Etchings on Kindjal ?

This one came to me a couple of days ago. Not a fancy one, but a good honest kindjal.
It has got some etchings on each side of the blade, or what remains of them.
Does anyone recognize these etchings ?
Thanks.

HB,

Both photos are upside down, but on one I think I see the common ККВ inscription, which stands for Куба́нское каза́чье во́йско: The Cuban Cossack Troops. I am really not familiar with the history of this unit of the Imperial Russian Army, so I am not sure what the initials on the other side of the blade could mean. I just see a Cyrillic F, the rest is too faded away. Someone who knows more about ККВ may be able to decipher it for you.

Regards,
Teodor

Thanks Teodor i think you are right.
I have already got a classic KKV kindjal, there is one pic of it here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=14753
I think that what made me confused, is that on the new kindjal the writing is following the blade, but in the old one, it is written across the blade...
Thanks

Oh, I see now. ЗОФ stands for Златоустовская Оружейная Фабрика: Zlatoust Weapons Factory.

Thanks Teodor.

I have second thoughts about the KKV etching on the last picture I know that it is turned upside down. I see ?KV.... could this be from some other cossack army than the Kuban ?

It is very worn-off, but I imagine I can see TKB, Terskoe Kazach'e Vojsko: Terek Cossack Troop.
