Hi gang!

I'm looking to identify this piece. It's very sharp.

Overall it's 48cm inches long. The blade is approximately 28cm. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Actually this is Indonesian. Others can be more specific.

Searching for Sunda (Soenda) will turn up more info, too.

I agree: A Tjikeroeh golok!

I have a very similar, only a bit larger (54 cm overall and blade is 34 cm), which doesn't fit in my collectionfield.
But I use it in my formtraining and like it very much because of the small and firm blade with little steel crosspiece as a handguard! (And I like the engravings on the sides of the blade).
Similar engravings on the spine as yours by the way...

Agree, golok from Tjikeroeh. Nice one, a shame that the scabbard is in such bad condition.

Detlef
